1. Nehru Zoological Park

2. Ramoji Film City
It is the largest integrated film city in the world and is spread over an area of more than 1666 acres. The film city was the idea of the famous film producer Ramoji Rao as he wanted to establish a studio similar to that of Hollywood. It is also certified by the Guinness World Records as the largest studio complex in the world.
The studio houses many sets for multiple movie shoots at a single time. 3. Ocean Park
This is one of the best places in Hyderabad for a one day picnic. Being one of the first ever water parks opened in Hyderabad, this park promises entertainment for all. The lake is designed in the shape of a heart, and in the middle stands the large monolithic Buddha Statue that was erected in 1992. 6. Golconda Fort
Situated at a distance of 11 km to the west of Hyderabad, this well known landmark of Hyderabad is one of biggest fortresses in the Deccan Plateau, which rests above land at approximately 400 ft. altitude. This stands high and unique among other fortresses in India because of its structural features that include eight imposing gateways, the double wall that follows the foot of the hill on which the bastion stands, the East Gate, one of the biggest entrances of the fort and a three-storeyed armory building.
The fort is surrounded by beautiful lush green gardens that depict the era of medieval India. This is the best place if you love to trek. From the top of this fort, you can experience a breathtaking view of the city. 7. Biodiversity Park
Built in 2012, this park was opened in 2015 for the public. This 13 acre park is surrounded by tall trees like oak trees. Not only this, the park houses a commemorative pylon that is an artistic expression depicting the great mystery of earth and is placed at the entrance of the park.
The park is divided into four sectors where each sector holds more than 200 species of plants. Although the park is small, it is well maintained as compared to the other parks of the city. Though parking is free, it can be an issue on weekends to find parking space.

9. Medak Fort
Built almost 800 years ago, this fort is one of the most popular destinations in Hyderabad. The fort is a huge structure that nestles on the top of a hill. Spread over 100 acres of land, this fort possesses three main entrances – the “Prathama Dwaram”, the “Simha Dwaram” which features two snarling lions at the top, and the “Gaja Dwaram”, or the Elephant’s Entrance, which features a sculpture of two elephants majestically interlocked on both sides.
To reach the top of the fort, you have to climb 500 steps. For dining purposes, you can find many hotels and restaurants nearby. Inside the fort, you can spot a small lake, a barracks, a warehouse, and ancient weapons like a 17th Century Cannon.

10. Ethipothala Waterfall
