Mahalaxmi is a popular area in South Mumbai that is named after Goddess Mahalaxmi, whose Mahalaxmi Temple is situated in this area. This uptown area used to be dotted with mills but today you can find high-rises all around. You can still find some mills in ruins here while others have become popular hangout spots. (more…)
